Rolo Robotics, a robotics startup founded in Singapore, has raised US$3.45 million in a seed funding round.
The round was backed by several investors, including A2D Ventures, BEENEXT, Seedstars, TIS Japan, Antler, Lotus One Investment, and Blueprint Ventures.
The funding round also received continued support from angel investors Valentin Schillo and Gilbert Rodrigues.
ROLO plans to roll out its food robots across Singapore, working with food operators, universities, hospitals, and transport hubs. It will also launch pilot projects in Australia in early 2026.
By 2026, the company aims to set up 20 to 30 autonomous micro-kitchens in Singapore, creating a connected network of robot-powered kitchens that operate around the clock.
“At ROLO, we believe the future of food service is human-robot collaboration — food that’s affordable, customizable and always fresh,
“MAYA 3.0 brings industrial-grade precision into everyday kitchens. This funding allows us to accelerate deployments in Singapore and Australia while strengthening the connective tissue between robotics, AI and future humanoid collaboration,” said Ravi Nahappan, ROLO’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Rolo Robotics builds autonomous food kiosks that can cook and serve fresh, made-to-order meals without needing any on-site staff.
These kiosks are designed for busy public places such as campuses, offices, and transport hubs where people want quick, convenient meals.
The company has already secured pilot projects with operators in several sectors, including universities, hospitals, and transport hubs.
Rolo plans to launch pilot sites in Australia in the first quarter of 2026, marking its first international expansion.
In Singapore, the company aims to set up 20 to 30 autonomous micro-kitchens by 2026.
Each kiosk is fully connected with food delivery apps, allowing users to order meals easily and enjoy seamless service.
