Majestic Labs raises $90 million Series A round

Majestic Labs has raised $90 million in a Series A funding round, after previously raising $10 million in its Seed round in 2024. The Series A round was led by Bow Wave Capital while the Seed round was led by Lux Capital. Other investors who joined include SBI, Upfront, Grove Ventures, Hetz Ventures, QP Ventures, Aidenlair Global and TAL Ventures.

The company says it is bringing a major change in how the world builds and uses artificial intelligence (AI). It aims to make AI training and deployment faster, simpler, and more efficient than current methods.

Founded by former leaders from Google and Meta, the company has created all-in-one servers that can handle large AI tasks on their own. These servers replace the need for multiple traditional servers and network switches, making AI systems easier to manage and more powerful.

In the past ten years, AI models have been growing extremely fast. According to Stanford’s 2025 AI Index Report, the number of training clusters doubles about every five months, and the size of datasets increases about every eight months. At the same time, the power needed to run these systems keeps rising. However, the memory technology that supports these models hasn’t kept up. Because of this, companies often have to use extra and expensive computing power just to handle their memory requirements.

The company’s main innovation is in balancing memory and computing power within one system. This approach helps make AI processing faster and more efficient.

Each of its servers combines special hardware and software that greatly expands memory capacity while still working with existing systems. This setup helps overcome the “memory wall,” a common problem where slow data flow limits how quickly processors can work.

“Majestic is built on a simple and powerful insight: AI’s next leap forward will come from access to more powerful AI infrastructure, and more powerful AI infrastructure requires a reimagination of the memory system,” said Co-Founder and CEO Ofer Shacham. “Majestic servers will have all the compute of state-of-the-art GPU/TPU-based systems coupled with 1000x the memory. Our breakthrough technology packs the memory capacity and bandwidth of 10 racks of today’s most advanced servers into a single server, providing our customers with unprecedented gains in performance and efficiency while slashing power consumption.”

The company was founded by Shacham, Masumi Reynders (COO), and Sha Rabii (President). Together, they previously led major projects such as FAST (Facebook Agile Silicon Team) at Meta Reality Labs and GChips at Google.

The team has an impressive record, holding over 120 patents and having developed and produced hundreds of millions of custom silicon chips. Their work includes creating the first AI processors for mobile devices and the first computing platform for augmented reality.
