Botsync, a robotics automation company based in Singapore, has received new funding from SGInnovate as part of its extended Series A round. The company builds smart robots and automation systems that work with different brands of machines.
This new investment will help Botsync grow faster in Asia. It will use the money to improve its products, invest more in research and development, and expand robot deployments for its existing customers.
Botsync is seeing strong demand from companies in the FMCG, food & beverage, and automotive sectors. This is because many businesses in the region are now looking for automation solutions that can easily grow with their needs.
In the past year, Botsync has expanded into Australia and South Africa by working with local partners to support its customers. The company has also partnered with SK International to expand into the United States.
With the new funding, Botsync will speed up the development of its products and technology. The company will improve its SyncOS™ platform so it can work with more robots and software, and will invest more in AI features that help analyze data and improve performance. Botsync will also work on making its MAG robots faster and better at handling real-world working conditions.
Botsync plans to grow more in Southeast Asia and India, and is also building partnerships to launch its solutions in Australia, New Zealand (ANZ), and the United States. The company has already started working on expanding into these markets.
“The support from the Singapore ecosystem has been a strong factor in our growth so far, and we are very excited and grateful to have SGInnovate onboard in this next stage of our journey. Over the past year, we have seen rapid growth in market demand for robotics and a very active expansion among our existing customers from initial deployment to large scale rollouts. With this growth of robotics adoption, our ability to integrate and orchestrate a multi-vendor fleet of robots has become a game changer. We strongly believe the next frontier of robotics won’t be in just making smarter robots, but building intelligent systems that can orchestrate different robots together more effectively,” said Rahul Nambiar, CEO and Co-Founder of Botsync.
“SGInnovate is excited to support Botsync in this next phase of growth. Their approach to robotics automation addresses real and urgent industry needs, and Botsync exemplifies how home-grown deep tech companies can scale regionally to deliver meaningful impact. We look forward to supporting their continued expansion across APAC and beyond,” said Hsien-Hui Tong, Executive Director – Investments, SGInnovate.
Botsync is an industrial automation company based in Singapore, with offices in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Australia. The company helps factories and warehouses automate their work using a simple no-code automation platform and its own fleet of smart autonomous mobile robots.
