Experiential travel brand WanderOn has raised INR 54 crore in its Series A funding round. The round was led by DSG Consumer Brand and CAAF.
WanderOn will use the new funds to create more exciting and easy-to-access travel experiences. They also plan to offer more destinations and expand trips focused on adventure, sports, and wellness.
The company will invest in technology to make the traveler’s journey better—from planning the trip to staying engaged after returning.
“Travel today is about connection, and people want trips where they can meet like-minded travellers and feel part of something meaningful. We have built WanderOn around that belief. This fundraise gives us the ability to move faster on destinations, product innovation, and technology, while continuing to put the traveller experience at the centre of everything we do,” said, Govind Gaur, CEO, WanderOn.
Founded in 2017 by Chirag Jain, Sandeep Kumar, Ravi Khokher, Madhusudan Jaju, and Govind Gaur, WanderOn is a travel-tech company based in Gurugram. It offers curated group trips like road trips, treks, and custom tours for millennials and Gen Z in India and abroad.
The platform focuses on offbeat destinations and provides hassle-free, budget-friendly travel. With a strong social media presence, WanderOn builds fun travel communities and memorable experiences for young adults.
WanderOn follows a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model and offers a seamless end-to-end travel journey. It uses digital storytelling, influencer collaborations and organic marketing to attract adventure lovers.
The company earns money from pre-booked travel packages, add-on experiences, and exclusive brand partnerships.
