Hydrovest Technology, a climate-smart agriculture company based in Doha, has raised around $275,000 (QAR 1 million) in new funding. The company plans to use this money to increase production, develop additional products and prepare to expand into regional markets.
The company will use the funding to speed up commercial production, finish setting up its factory in Birkat Al Awamar at Logistic Park A in Al Wakrah, expand research and development partnerships, and support its entry into the UAE market in the fourth quarter of 2026.
“Today’s investment is a critical inflection point for Hydrovest,” said Jeacim Francis Adaya, Chief Executive Officer of Hydrovest Technology. “With this capital, we will transition into commercial-scale operations. We are excited about delivering premium, nutritious options produced with data-driven farming.”
Hydrovest Technology, best known in Qatar for its Lettuce Chips, is planning to expand its range of products. The company is already working on freeze-dried fruits using advanced freeze-dry technology that keeps the natural taste and nutrients of fresh fruits.
These freeze-dried fruits are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients making them a healthy and natural option. In addition, Hydrovest is preparing to launch Lettuce Tea.
The Lettuce Tea will be blended with ingredients like moringa, lemon and other healthy elements to offer a refreshing and nutritious drink. These new products reflect the company’s focus on innovation and wellness.
By bringing these products to market Hydrovest aims to improve food security and support environmental sustainability. The expansion also helps the company prepare to serve retail partners across the GCC from its new facility and contribute to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
