EFB Green Energy Completes Key Research Milestone for Industrial-Scale Conversion of Palm Oil Waste into Clean Energy Pellets

EFB Green Energy today announced the successful completion of the latest phase of its research program focused on converting palm oil waste into clean energy pellets at industrial scale. The company stated that the results confirm the stability and scalability of its proprietary processing technology, marking a significant step toward commercial deployment.

According to EFB Green Energy, the completed research phase validates the company’s core technological advantage in addressing long-standing technical challenges associated with Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB), a biogenic byproduct of palm oil production. In addition to high residual moisture and oil content, the elevated alkali content — which significantly lower the ash melting point — have been a primary factor limiting the industrial use of EFB as a fuel source.

The company’s proprietary process is designed to overcome these barriers and enable consistent, large-scale pellet production suitable for industrial combustion systems. EFB Green Energy stated that the research findings support the technical feasibility of operating at industrial scale while maintaining process stability and fuel quality standards required by commercial users.

With the research milestone achieved, EFB Green Energy is entering its next phase of development. The company has initiated discussions with specialized machinery manufacturers across Europe to secure advanced equipment for its planned industrial processing facility.

At the same time, EFB Green Energy confirmed that it is prepared to begin negotiations with institutional investors to support the transition from research to commercial implementation. The company stated that discussions will focus on strategic partners capable of supporting long-term industrial deployment, operational scaling, and international expansion.

EFB Green Energy indicated that capital raised would be allocated primarily toward equipment procurement, facility development, and initial working capital requirements for the planned industrial processing facility. The company added that opportunities for private investors may be considered at a later stage, following the structuring of institutional participation.

The company stated that completion of this research phase positions EFB Green Energy to advance toward full industrial deployment and the establishment of strategic partnerships within the clean energy sector.
