MyDesignation secures INR 40 crore Series A round led by RPSG Capital Ventures

Direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand MyDesignation has raised INR 40 crore in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by RPSG Capital Ventures.

Existing investors Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments also took part in the round, showing their continued trust in the company’s growth and future potential.

Earlier, the Kerala-based startup had raised $1.25 million in a seed funding round in April 2025.

Commenting on the fundraise, Swaroop Krishnan, Co-Founder, MyDesignation, said, “This Series A fundraise marks an important milestone in our journey. The capital will enable us to scale our offline presence through own outlets, invest in senior talent and expand into new categories while building a disciplined and sustainable growth trajectory. Over the past five years, we have focused on building a strong product foundation and a loyal customer base. This round gives us the ability to accelerate our omnichannel strategy while maintaining operational rigour.”

MyDesignation was founded in 2020 by husband and wife Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj. The brand follows a digital-first model, meaning it mainly focuses on online sales and engagement.

The company has built a strong connection with its community. It combines cultural storytelling with modern streetwear designs, creating a unique and relatable fashion identity.

MyDesignation sells mostly through its own website and delivers to customers across India. It also has 5 Exclusive Brand Outlets in Bangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum, and Calicut. The brand does not rely on third-party marketplaces, which allows it to keep full control over pricing, branding, and customer relationships.
