InMobi Acquires MobileAction to Expand AI-Powered iOS Advertising Solutions

InMobi, an adtech unicorn has acquired San Francisco-based mobile app marketing and analytics company MobileAction for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will help InMobi improve how brands attract new users to their apps on Apple’s iOS platform through organic growth and AI-powered optimisation.

After the acquisition, MobileAction will continue to operate independently, while its teams in the US, Europe, and Turkey will become part of the InMobi Group.

“MobileAction’s AI-powered platform and leadership in helping marketers drive growth for their apps makes this a highly strategic addition to InMobi Advertising. Together, we’re better positioned to help marketers and brands drive sustainable, intelligent growth in an agentic world,” said Rohit Dosi, vice president and general manager of InMobi.

Aykut Karaalioglu, founder and chief executive of MobileAction, said the partnership would allow the company to “accelerate its roadmap” and expand its data-driven decision-making tools.

Founded in 2013, MobileAction is an AI-powered platform that helps app developers and marketers increase app visibility and attract more users on Apple’s iOS platform. Its clients include major global companies such as Google, Meta, and DoorDash.

After the acquisition, InMobi plans to invest more in MobileAction’s products and grow its presence in global markets, including the US, Asia Pacific (APAC), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and other regions.

Founded in 2007, InMobi provides marketing and monetisation solutions for brands, advertisers, and publishers. The company also operates platforms such as Glance and Roposo.
