FotoNation Ltd. and SEMIFIVE Inc. have announced a strategic partnership to work together on AI chip development.
As part of the deal, SEMIFIVE will handle the complete development process for TriSilica, FotoNation’s ultra-low-power perceptual AI chip family.

This partnership is SEMIFIVE Inc.’s first deal in Europe and marks an important step in expanding its presence in the region. The company already has experience working in markets such as the United States, China, Japan, and India.
By using its advanced semiconductor technology platforms, SEMIFIVE is strengthening its position as a global partner for companies looking for high-performance custom AI chip solutions.
