Healthtech startup ArrowBiome has raised US$1 million in seed funding from Cocoon Capital.
With the additional funds, ArrowBiome intends to expand its R&D department and pursue new business ventures. In addition, it intends to branch out into areas outside skin science.

“We aim to lead a global shift towards microbiome-centric solutions in personal care and cosmeceutical industries and beyond. We are thrilled that Cocoon Capital shares our vision”, stated Boon Chong Goh, the founder and CEO of ArrowBiome.
Because these medicines may be created with lower quantities of active substances than traditionally produced alternatives, the business claims that its system enables customers to offer treatments that have less side effects.
By designing antibacterial proteins to target particular bacterial strains for indications like acne and body odor, ArrowBiome’s platform technologies address this problem.
