Sophos has appointed Amy Chua as the new director of channels for ASEAN and Korea as the cybersecurity company looks to grow its partner network in the region.
Chua, who has previously worked in leadership roles at Google and Microsoft, will manage Sophos’ partner strategy, distributor network, and sales execution across ASEAN and Korea.
The company said the move comes at a time when cybersecurity firms are depending more on partner networks to expand their regional presence and meet rising demand for AI-powered security solutions as cyber threats continue to increase.
“Asean and Korea remain important growth markets for Sophos, and our partners play a central role in how we scale and deliver stronger cybersecurity outcomes for customers,” said Chad Cleevely, senior director of channel sales, Asia Pacific and Japan at Sophos.
“We are delighted to welcome a leader of Amy’s calibre to the team. She brings a strong understanding of the channel, a clear operational mindset and the leadership needed to strengthen our partner ecosystem and build further momentum across the region.”
With her background in data and analytics, Chua will help Sophos grow its AI-powered cybersecurity business.
She will also support partners in dealing with changing cyber threats by using smarter, data-driven security solutions.
Chua has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, especially in partner growth, channel development, and expanding businesses across different regions. Before joining Sophos, she worked in leadership positions at Google and Microsoft.
Her appointment strengthens Sophos’ leadership team in the region as the company continues to grow its partner network across ASEAN and Korea.
