Açaí Theory, a healthy quick-service restaurant brand, has raised Rs 4 crore (approx. US$427,700) in its pre-seed funding round, led by All In Capital.
Some well-known angel investors also joined the round, including Rinshul Chandra, Harpreet Grover, Anurag Prasad, and Harish Varadarajan, along with others.
The company will use this money to expand its business, hire more employees, promote its brand, and improve its supply chain and research work.
“With this capital, we are focused on growing our footprint in Bengaluru and setting up the right foundation to expand into other key markets. Our goal is to make ‘healthy indulgence’ an everyday choice, not an exception,” Rishav Ranjan and Akash Kyal, Co-founders of Açaí Theory, said.
Founded in 2025 by Rishav Ranjan and Akash Kyal, the Bengaluru-based Açaí Theory is a healthy quick-service restaurant brand that wants to make healthy food more attractive and enjoyable. It mainly serves açaí bowls, which are rich in nutrients and also taste good.
The startup focuses on offering food that is tasty, healthy, and quick to get. It uses an assembly-only model, which means there is no live cooking. This helps the brand serve food faster and keep the quality consistent.
Right now, the brand has one main outlet in Bengaluru and has served more than 10,000 bowls in just six months since it started in October 2025. Its menu includes açaí bowls, smoothies, and other healthy snacks. Açaí is a well-known superfood that comes from the Amazon region of Brazil.
In the future, the startup plans to open 8–10 new stores across Bengaluru. It also wants to set up a central kitchen to keep the food quality the same in all outlets.
The company will use AI tools and standard processes to work more efficiently and grow its business faster.
