[FUNDING NEWS] Singapore-Based Aevice Health secures $1 Million in Funding

Medtech company Aevice Health, based in Singapore and focused on remote respiratory monitoring systems, has raised USD 1 million from Japanese medtech company A&D.

Medtech company Aevice Health, based in Singapore and focused on remote respiratory monitoring systems, has raised USD 1 million from Japanese medtech company A&D.

This investment will support the launch of AeviceMD, the company’s flagship remote monitoring platform, in the US and Japan in addition to easing the integration of Aevice’s technology with A&D’s experience in medtech design and manufacture.

“We are delighted to announce our investment in Aevice Health. This collaboration will strengthen our ability to develop solutions for the health challenges facing society. We are  eager to leverage our expertise and technology together to further our joint mission of  improving patient care for those with respiratory conditions”, said Yasunobu Morishima, Representative Director and President of A&D Company, Limited.

The relationship between A&D Company, Limited and Aevice Health was enabled by JETRO Singapore, which was instrumental in establishing a connection and promoting cooperation between the two organisations.

With a smart wearable stethoscope appropriate for all age groups, AeviceMD is a patient management platform for managing chronic respiratory diseases that has received approval from the US FDA and the Singapore Health Services Authority. The platform is always keeping an eye out for biomarkers of interest, such wheezing and early indicators of exacerbation.
