Wealth Management Startup CREST Raises $3.1 Mn in Pre-seed Round

Mumbai-based wealth management startup CREST has raised US$3.1 million (around ₹29.3 crore) in a pre-seed funding round.

The funding round was led by Atrium Ventures, BEENEXT, DeVC, Sparrow, Shastra VC, Warmup Ventures, and 91ventures. More than 40 angel investors also participated, including Amit Ranjan, Chirag Taneja, Revant Bhate, and Shantanu Deshpande.

CREST plans to use the new capital to improve its technology platform, expand its family office and investment management teams, and strengthen its regulatory and compliance processes.

The company will also use the funding to broaden its investment offerings. This includes providing clients with more opportunities in Indian and international stock markets, as well as real estate investments.

Girish Singhi and Zuhaib Khan, co-founders of CREST, said, “Many of India's founders and business owners have built significant wealth, but their personal financial structures haven't kept pace. CREST was built to sit on the client's side of the table, bringing together investment discipline, governance, technology and long-term thinking in one place. This fundraise will allow us to deepen our platform, strengthen our teams, and serve this generation of wealth creators the way they deserve to be served.”

Saksham Pant, Principal at BEENEXT, said, “Founders, CXOs, and business families today are looking for trusted partners to help manage and grow their wealth long term. Girish, Zuhaib and the CREST team, with their strong investment expertise and an AI product built on top of India’s significantly improved financial infrastructure, are building a modern family office platform for the next generation of wealth creators and we’re excited to partner with them.”

Co-founded in 2025 by Girish Singhi and Zuhaib Khan, CREST provides wealth management and family office services for high-net-worth individuals, family-owned businesses, and institutions. The company helps clients manage their investments, plan how their assets are distributed, and prepare for business succession and estate planning.

The startup focuses on serving India's wealthiest individuals through its "fractional family office" model. CREST says it works exclusively with founders, business owners, and other value creators across Asia.

CREST follows an invite-only, referral-based approach. Its investment teams help clients with services similar to those provided by a Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO), helping families manage their financial affairs more effectively.

The company has started by offering asset allocation services, helping clients decide how to distribute their investments across different asset classes to achieve their financial goals.
