AI-Driven Interiors Platform Roomstory.ai Raises ₹3 Crore in Funding

Roomstory.ai, an AI-based platform for discovering interior design ideas, has raised INR 3 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Rukam Sitara Fund, with support from Aakash Anand (founder of Bella Vita Organic) and Wolfpack Labs.

The company will use the funds to improve its AI technology, launch its website and mobile apps, and make the overall digital experience better for users.

Roomstory.ai was co-founded by Ekatva Jain (CEO), Sahil Lunia (Chief Design Officer), and Punit Jain (COO), who are all architect-entrepreneurs with experience in over 100 completed projects. Their goal is to make it easier for people to turn interior design ideas into real purchases.

The platform lets users browse beautifully designed rooms and instantly shop for the furniture and décor they see, using direct links to partner stores. It works like Pinterest but focuses more on shopping.

“Most interior platforms force you to choose between inspiration and shopping—we eliminate that divide,” said Ekatva Jain. “Roomstory does not just show you a beautiful room; it hands you the exact tools to recreate it.”

Archana Jahagirdar, Founder and Managing Partner of Rukam Sitara Fund, said, “Roomstory is the kind of smart and bold idea we like to support. It combines strong design knowledge with the latest AI technology and brings fresh innovation to a space that hasn’t seen much change in a long time.”

Investor Aakash Anand echoed the sentiment, noting, “Roomstory is tapping into a massive shift in how modern consumers discover and buy for their homes. Their AI-native approach bridges the long-standing gap between dreaming and doing.”

India’s interior design market is expected to grow to $38.2 billion by 2027, and the combined interiors and furniture market could reach $76 billion.

Roomstory.ai says it wants to take advantage of this growth by using AI and visual tools to make it easier for people to discover and shop for home décor and furniture.
