Akro AI develops AI-powered automation tools for regulated industries. Its platform helps businesses process information from scanned documents, handwritten notes, and different types of forms, reducing manual work and saving time.
“In regulated industries, information is fragmented, documents are inconsistent, and mistakes carry real consequences. That’s why organisations still rely on armies of people to process information manually,” says Marcus Quek, co-founder and chief executive of Akro AI. “This funding will go towards expanding our engineering team to accelerate product development and purchasing more AI hardware to deepen our research efforts.”
Mattias Rejman, Co-Founder & General Partner of Amigos Venture Capital, said: “What stood out to us was the founders themselves: their conviction, technical depth and pace of execution. The traction Akro has built in just one year speaks to their ability, and we are proud to lead this round and partner with them on this journey.”
Founded in 2025 by Marcus Quek, Akro AI helps organizations turn documents, records, and internal knowledge into automated workflows. This reduces manual work and makes everyday business processes faster and more efficient.
Its AI platform can be installed on a company's own systems, giving government agencies and businesses greater privacy, security, and transparency when working with sensitive information.
