Green SM Launches Green SM Limo, Its Fully Electric Taxi Service in India

With this launch, India becomes the fifth country where Green SM operates, joining Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines in the company's growing international network.

The launch event was held in New Delhi and was attended by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Minister for Industries & Commerce, Environment, Forest & Wildlife, Foreign Cooperation, and Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare, Government of Haryana, along with Dr. Virinder Sharma, Vice President of the Commission for Air Quality Management. Representatives from Indian government agencies, the Embassy of Vietnam in India, and partners from the automotive, transportation, energy, finance, technology, infrastructure, and service sectors also participated in the event.

The launch took place on World Environment Day, making Green SM's entry into India even more meaningful. The company aims to make clean and eco-friendly transportation a regular part of daily life. Through its services, Green SM plans to provide customers with a safe, reliable, and high-quality travel option while also creating new job and career opportunities for local drivers. With its fully electric fleet the company is committed to working with local communities and partners to support sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation.

In the first phase, Green SM Limo will operate across major areas of the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). The company plans to gradually expand its services as demand grows. The service uses the VinFast Limo Green, a fully electric seven-seater SUV designed specifically for passenger transportation. With a spacious interior, smooth ride quality, and zero emissions the vehicle is suitable for daily travel, family outings, business trips, and airport transfers.

To improve passenger comfort, every vehicle is equipped with drinking water, wet tissues, and other essential amenities. Green SM Limo vehicles also feature the Secure-to-Safe safety system, which includes interior and exterior cameras, AI-powered monitoring technology, and emergency support buttons for both passengers and drivers.

Every Green SM Limo ride is operated by professionally trained Green Drivers. They receive training in electric vehicle operations, road safety, and customer service. Green Drivers represent the company's core values of safety, professionalism, dedication, honesty, and responsibility in every journey.
