Arab Financial Services (AFS) and Samsung Gulf Electronics are introducing Samsung Pay in Oman using AFS’s regional expertise in digital payment solutions and Samsung’s breakthrough technology to provide Omani consumers a secure and convenient contactless payment option.
The agreement improves AFS’s presence in the Omani market and expands Samsung Pay’s reach, improving Omani consumers’ daily transactions’ convenience and security.
This follows the Central Bank of Oman’s recent card tokenisation instructions for banks and payment providers. The agreement improves Oman’s financial environment and encourages innovative digital payment methods, marking a major step in its digital transition.
