Butterfly Learnings, a Mumbai-based startup focused on children's behavioural health, has raised ₹65 crore (around US$6.7 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round.

Butterfly Learnings plans to use the new funding to expand its centres beyond Maharashtra. The company wants to reach more families in different parts of India.

The startup will also invest in technology and AI and expand access to its autism screening and therapist training programmes.

Butterfly Learnings was founded in 2021 by Dr. Sonam Kothari and Dr. Abhishek Sen. The company provides behavioural healthcare and developmental support for children with autism, ADHD and learning disabilities.

The company provides different types of support, including therapy and diagnosis. It also helps children through inclusive education and other developmental programmes.

Butterfly Learnings uses digital health solutions and technology-based tools to support children and their families through its network of centres.

The company now operates more than 90 centres across 22 cities in India. It also runs a training institute that helps therapists improve their skills in behavioural healthcare.
