Cashku Partners With Muamalat Invest to Expand Shariah-Compliant Investment Options

Malaysia-based digital wealth platform Cashku has partnered with Muamalat Invest to offer more Shariah-compliant investment products through its digital platform. The partnership aims to make Islamic investment options more accessible to eligible investors, with no sales charges.

Cashku Adds New Islamic Investment Products

Under the partnership, Cashku users will be able to access a wider range of investment products, including money market instruments, sukuk (Islamic bonds), Malaysian and global equities, gold, and Shariah-compliant private credit.

The products will be available through a single digital platform. Their availability will depend on the investor's eligibility and the type of fund.

Retail funds will be accessible to eligible Cashku users. Wholesale funds, including private credit products, will be limited to investors who meet the Securities Commission Malaysia's (SC) requirements for sophisticated investors.

Malaysia's Islamic Investment Market Continues to Grow

Cashku referred to the Securities Commission Malaysia's Annual Report 2025 to highlight the growth of the country's Islamic capital market.

According to the figures cited by Cashku, Malaysia's Islamic capital market grew 4.31% to MYR 2.7 trillion (approximately $660 billion) in 2025, representing around 63% of the country's total domestic capital market.

Islamic assets under management also increased by 11.35% year-on-year to MYR 274.01 billion. This was higher than the 6.9% growth recorded by the overall fund management industry.
