Cooby, a WhatsApp sales platform provider with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, has raised US$1.75 million in seed money.
Together with current backers Peak XV’s Surge and Pear VC, Shilling VC led the round, which raised the overall funding to US$4.75 million.

With the money, the business hopes to improve sales teams’ customer involvement even further.
Wen Shaw, a former Meta Product Manager, founded Cooby in November 2020 with the goal of streamlining sales processes by integrating WhatsApp with CRM platforms. Messages are synced with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other platforms. Broadcast communication, personalised templates, well-organized inboxes on WhatsApp, and effective contact management all contribute to increased sales.

The company has expanded sixfold in the last 18 months and now serves over 600 clients in over 15 countries, including Mission Mittelstand, Avendus Capital, and GoStudent.
