TNG Digital, the company that runs TNG eWallet, has partnered with Malaysian fintech startup Curlec by Razorpay.
In a statement the two said that Curlec’s direct integration with the TNG eWallet allows them to cooperate in empowering neglected markets to increase financial accessibility for customers and businesses across the country.

This group comprises small and medium-sized businesses rural unbanked people, and the younger generation who do not have access to debit or credit cards.
Recurring payments have been one of it’s primary areas of attention since the company’s founding, he claims. This cooperation allows unbanked and younger audiences to make recurring payments through TNG eWallet with it, without the need for debit or credit cards.
Curlec’s payment gateway with TNG eWallet helps SMEs collect payments consistently, improving cash flow. This agreement expands TNG eWallet’s merchant reach, making financial services accessible to anyone.
Improved operational efficiency and financial management help micro and small firms thrive in the digital economy. TNG Digital CEO Alan Ni said the partnership with Curlec fits TNG Digital’s mission to democratise financial access in Malaysia and empower people financially.

He added that this relationship supports Malaysian Central Bank’s Financial Sector Blueprint 2022-2026, which seeks to digitalize the financial sector through a thriving digital financial services landscape. Malaysian Central Bank regulates Curlec, which is part of PayNet.
