DOKU Appoints Himelda Renuat as New CEO as Antom Deepens Strategic Investment

Himelda Renuat previously served as DOKU’s Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, she will lead DOKU’s growth and also serve as Head of Antom Indonesia. She will focus on expanding DOKU’s business in Indonesia while working closely with Antom’s regional and global payment network.

Chris Yeo, who has served as DOKU’s CEO since 2022, has stepped down from the position. He will now become Head of Antom Philippines, where he will focus on Antom’s merchant payment services in the Philippines.

The partnership will bring DOKU closer to Antom’s global merchant network. It will connect DOKU’s local payment methods and merchant relationships with Antom’s global merchant acquiring platform and wider financial technology ecosystem.

DOKU will also work more closely with 2C2P, Antom’s Southeast Asian payment gateway subsidiary. The companies will provide payment solutions for Indonesian businesses expanding across Southeast Asia and for international businesses entering the Indonesian market.

The partnership will also focus on broader financial services. These include multi-currency solutions, cross-border payment processing, and possible lending and treasury management services for merchants.

Under Himelda’s leadership, DOKU plans to strengthen its position in Indonesia and expand its services across more industries and payment channels. The company also plans to help more Indonesian businesses accept payments from customers in international markets.

DOKU was established in 2007 and provides payment solutions for businesses through online and offline channels. The company serves more than 300,000 merchants in Indonesia, including TikTok, Google, Garuda Indonesia, Prudential, and Trip.com.

DOKU was also the first Indonesian company to receive PCI DSS Level 1 certification. It holds six payment licenses from Bank Indonesia covering payment gateway services, fund transfers, e-money, e-wallets, QR code payments, and PNBP collection.
