Dr Clear Aligners (DCA), a prominent APAC dental clear aligner provider, raised $8 million from Insignia Ventures Partners in its Series A fundraising round.
According to a statement released by DCA on Thursday, this strategic investment helps expedite Dr. Clear Aligners’ objective to make orthodontic treatment affordable and accessible for everyone, fostering worldwide expansion and advancing technology capabilities.
Insignia Ventures Partners’ investment will provide more than capital; it will also provide a strategic partnership to help Dr Clear Aligners expand into new markets, particularly in MENA, and deepen its presence in existing markets.

The funds will also support artificial intelligence research and orthodontic team expansion.

This funding round supports Dr. Clear Aligners’ innovation in the orthodontic experience, such as its patented AI technology for clear aligner monitoring post-treatment, which differentiates the brand in the market by combining advanced technology and in-house orthodontic expertise to make clear aligner treatments faster, better, and more affordable.

Its approach to clear aligner treatment matches the increased demand for them because to their comfort, cosmetic appeal, and reduced pain compared to traditional braces, putting Dr. Clear Aligners at the forefront of a major market trend.

Dr Clear Aligners, founded in April 2020 by Ryan Teo, Kevin Lim, and Jayden Cheng, operates in seven countries with over 1,000 partner clinics.
The company owns and operates 11 licenced dentistry clinics offering a variety of services.
Dr Clear Aligners recently teamed with one of Southeast Asia’s major dental clinic chains to deliver patented patient treatment tracking technology, the first in the region.
