Drug Farm Raises $55 Mn in Series D Round

Drug Farm has raised US$55 million in its Series D funding round. The round was co-led by Shanghai Pudong Leading Area Investment Center and Shanghai Puxing Collaborative Private Equity Fund Partnership Enterprise.

The funding round also attracted new investors, including Tukar Capital, Fuzhou Xinhe Fund, Shenzhen Luohu Donghai Chempartner Investment Fund, and Keyuan Pharma. Existing investors such as BioVeda China Fund (BVCF), YD Capital, Jiashan State VC, Detong Capital, Wedo Capital, and Biometas also joined the round.

Drug Farm will use the new funding to continue developing its clinical and preclinical drug pipeline. The investment will also help the company speed up its global clinical development programs.

In addition, the funding will support regulatory activities in key markets and help expand the company's research and development (R&D) capabilities, allowing Drug Farm to continue developing new medicines.

We are proud that DF-003 is amongst the first drugs developed with AI and entering a Phase 3 trial. The investment provides additional resources to advance DF-003 through the completion of a pivotal trial in patients with ROSAH syndrome and clinical proof of concept in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The funds will also be used to continue clinical development of DF-006 in patients with hepatitis B."

Drug Farm is a private biotechnology company that develops new treatments for ROSAH syndrome, heart and kidney diseases, hepatitis B, and metabolic disorders. The company uses its IDInVivo+ platform, which combines genetics and artificial intelligence (AI), to discover and test new drug targets. It is also developing several innovative drug candidates using its MedChem5 AI platform and is moving them into clinical trials.
