Infra automation startup Enlite has raised INR 46 crore (around $5 million) in its first big funding round, led by Avaana Capital.
Claypond Capital and the family office of Manipal Group Chairman Ranjan Pai also participated in the round.
Enlite will use the money to expand into global markets like West Asia and Southeast Asia, improve its AI and data tracking features, grow its presence in places like airports, data centers, public spaces, and hotels, and build teams to support sales and services for both businesses and governments.
“The country (India) is going through a transformation in terms of infrastructure, and is the fastest-growing market in the world. That’s where we believe what we are building adds a lot of value,” said Gaurav Bali, cofounder and CEO of Enlite.
“The cloud platform we’ve built today houses thousands of algorithms that control different types of building equipment—depending on the geography, the number of people inside, the external environment, and several other factors,” said Bharadwaj.
“We serve a lot of pin codes. The ones that have come up in the last six months are from remote parts of Kerala, resort towns in Rajasthan, and tourist cities in Uttar Pradesh,” she added.
Swapna Gupta, partner at Avaana Capital said, “Enlite is applying deep tech to transform how critical infrastructure is designed and operated. The team has built purpose-built hardware with real-time intelligence and native interoperability to transform how infrastructure is managed at scale across sectors and geographies.”
Enlite was founded in 2017 by Gaurav Bali and Garima Bharadwaj. The company offers an easy-to-install automation system that replaces old building management setups with small wireless devices, smart edge technology, and AI controls. This helps buildings respond and adjust in real time.
Since its launch in 2022, Enlite’s technology has been used in over 70 business locations, covering 25 million square feet. Its clients include Prestige Group, Fairmont Mumbai, REITs, projects in the Gulf region, hospital networks, and other companies.
Enlite has applied for three global patents and is also testing a new large language model (LLM) that works directly with its hardware. The company says its revenue grew 10 times in 2024–25 and plans to grow it 4 times more this year.
