A new strategic partnership has been announced by Workday, Inc., a leading provider of solutions to help organizations manage their people and finances, and Equifax, a global provider of data, analytics, and technology, to help make employment and income verifications for employees of Workday customers easier and faster than ever.

Customers of Workday will be able to provide their employees with seamless, quick verifications for their most significant life events, like purchasing their first home, by integrating Workday Payroll with Equifax’s The Work Number® employment and income verification service.

“This new partnership with Workday directly supports our Equifax purpose: to help people live their financial best,” said Joe Muchnick, senior vice president, alliances, Equifax Workforce Solutions. “Through this integration, Workday customers will be able to provide their employees with the instant verifications that are often a necessary step as they pursue important life events like applying for a home mortgage, an auto loan or government benefits.”

The robust security and dependability of the Workday platform, along with the strength of the Equifax credentialing process, will enable Workday customers to drastically cut expenses and streamline operations by automating the verification process. This will save time on each verification inquiry and support staff members with a wide range of unique needs.

“Through this partnership with Equifax we are meeting the moment for our customers and their employees by making the employment and income verification process faster and more efficient,” said Matthew Brandt, senior vice president, global partners, Workday. “This partnership improves the employee experience by simplifying and speeding up the process by which they secure loans and government benefits, which frees up HR teams to focus on more meaningful work such as employee performance and wellbeing.”

By 2025, it is anticipated that all U.S. Payroll clients will have access to Workday’s new optional Employment Verification Connector for Equifax integration. Customers of Workday will not incur any additional costs as a result of this integration.
