SUMMARY
- Fixxly has raised US$5.5 million in a seed funding round led by Accel, Fireside Ventures, and Lightspeed India Partners.
- The startup will use the funding to strengthen its technology platform and expand operations before its commercial launch on September 1.
- Its platform serves contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, interior designers, and homeowners.
The company will use the new funding to improve its technology platform and expand its operations before its official commercial launch on September 1.
Fixxly will first launch its services in Bengaluru and then gradually expand to other cities across India.
Commenting on the fundraise, Shezan Bhojani, Co-founder and CEO, Fixxly said, "We started Fixxly with one belief: no site should lose a working hour because a single item didn't arrive. The people building India - the electrician, the plumber, the contractor running four sites at once - are professionals, and their time is money. When material is late, the country slows down with them. Fixxly exists to keep that from happening: the right material, on site, when it's needed, every time. We're building this so India doesn't miss a beat."
Prashanth Prakash, Partner at Accel, said, “Building material procurement in India remains highly fragmented, with contractors and homeowners often dependent on local suppliers and unpredictable delivery timelines. As projects become more time-sensitive the need for on-demand access to materials is only increasing. Fixxly is reimagining this category through an AI-driven supply network that delivers speed and reliability at scale. We are excited to partner with Shezan, Sachith and the team as they build a technology-first platform for India's building materials ecosystem.”
Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is an AI-powered quick commerce platform that helps people buy building materials quickly and easily.
The platform is designed for contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers, and homeowners who need construction materials for their projects.
Customers can order products such as plywood, paint, electrical items, lighting, hardware, and plumbing supplies, with deliveries arriving in around 30 minutes.
