Women-focused fashion brand FS Life, which owns FableStreet and Pink Fort, has raised INR 50 crore ($5.6 million) in funding. The round was led by Colossa Ventures and Rahul Garg, founder of IGNITE Growth LLP, with support from existing investors Fireside Ventures and Mirabilis Investment Trust.
The company will use this money to grow its offline retail business. FS Life currently has five stores in Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR, and plans to double this number in the next six months. Over the next three years, it aims to open more than 100 stores across India.
“I started FableStreet with the aim of making every woman feel special and confident through what she wore. While the journey has had its ups and downs in the last 9 years of operating the business, it is this north star and customer love which has kept us going,” said, Ayushi Gudwani, founder & CEO of FS Life.
Founded in 2016 by Ayushi Gudwani, FS Life is a women’s fashion and lifestyle company that owns brands like FableStreet, March Jewellery, and Pinkfort.
FableStreet offers western wear designed for perfect fits, while March focuses on sterling silver and semi-precious jewellery.
Pinkfort creates modern Indian wear that blends traditional styles with a contemporary twist.
The startup is now close to reaching operational break-even and shared that its stores start making returns within 18 months of launch.
Currently, FS Life operates at a revenue run rate of ₹160 crore.
The new funding comes as many Indian D2C brands are adopting omnichannel strategies. While online shopping continues to grow, most Indian consumers still prefer buying from physical stores, driving FS Life to expand its offline presence.
