Garuda Aerospace Signs MoU with Micron Instruments to Boost India’s Defence Drone Capabilities

IPO-bound drone startup Garuda Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Micron Instruments Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company that manufactures precision fuzes, defence ammunition systems, and other key military components.
Under the partnership, the two companies will work together to develop advanced defence technologies in India. Their collaboration will include product distribution, joint technology development, and defence-related projects.
By combining Micron Instruments' expertise in precision fuzes with Garuda Aerospace's drone technology, the companies plan to develop next-generation defence solutions, including loitering munitions, payload-carrying drones, and other advanced unmanned systems.

India's drone market is expected to grow to more than ₹20,000 crore. Garuda Aerospace and Micron Instruments plan to use their expertise in manufacturing, defence engineering, and innovation to take advantage of this growing market.
The partnership also supports India's goal of developing more defence technologies within the country and strengthening self-reliance in the defence and aerospace sectors.
Garuda Aerospace is continuing to expand its presence in India's defence and aerospace industry. Along with Micron Instruments, the company has also partnered with Thales and Tata Elxsi to develop advanced defence solutions.
