Glamera to Acquire Bookr to Expand Lifestyle Tech Platform in GCC

Glamera Holding, a lifestyle technology company based in the Middle East, has signed an agreement to acquire Bookr Group. This move supports Glamera’s plan to expand across the region.

Founded in 2022 by Mohamed Hassan Hijazi and Omar Fathy, Glamera runs a technology platform for the beauty and wellness industry.

So far, Glamera has processed transactions worth more than SAR 4 billion and supports over 4,500 beauty and wellness service providers across the region.

Bookr Group operates a platform that helps service providers manage their businesses and also offers a booking app used by more than 300,000 customers in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

The acquisition aims to strengthen Glamera’s presence across the Gulf, especially in the fast-growing beauty and wellness market and move closer to building a single AI-powered platform for both businesses and customers.

After the deal, Glamera plans to integrate Bookr’s operations and market reach into its own platform. This will improve efficiency, speed up growth in new markets and strengthen Glamera’s position as a regional market leader.

Mohamed Hassan Hijazi, Co-Founder and CEO of Glamera Holding, said, “The acquisition marks a turning point for the company as it transitions from a high-growth startup into a mature regional platform. He added that the move lays the groundwork for Glamera’s next phase of growth and supports its roadmap toward a future stock market listing”.

Hijazi said the integration will quickly increase Glamera’s presence across the region and help grow its market share.

He also explained that it will allow Glamera to introduce advanced AI features designed specifically for the beauty and wellness industry, improving the user experience and helping businesses run more efficiently.

Eng. Zaina Al-Bader, CEO of Bookr Group, said, “The acquisition reflects the strength of Bookr’s platform and opens a new chapter of accelerated growth. She highlighted the strategic alignment between both companies and the expected synergies in expansion, product integration, and sales activation”.

Once the deal is completed the combined platform is expected to serve millions of users across the Middle East.

The integrated system will offer many services in one place, including booking and scheduling, digital payments and POS, salon and clinic management, AI-based insights, supply-chain connections and industry partnerships.

The acquisition will help Glamera scale faster, grow its market share, and create more value for investors and partners strengthening its position in the regional beauty and lifestyle technology market.
