GreenTeams, a fast-growing climate tech company focused on using data to improve environmental management in Indonesia, has completed its Series A funding round. Oriza Greenwillow Technology Fund led the round.
GreenTeams works at the crossroads of environmental data, government rules, and reducing industrial pollution. The company helps drive real climate action by using technology that tracks emissions and air quality in real time.
This new funding shows that investors believe in GreenTeams’ important role in helping Indonesia reach its Net Zero emissions goal by 2060.
“GreenTeams is more than just a hardware provider — We’re responding to the growing demand from both industry and government for credible, actionable environmental data. This funding allows us to deepen our national footprint, grow our team, and expand impact across multiple sectors. We are grateful for the trust of our partners in both the private and public sectors, and would like to invite like-minded investors to join us in the extended Series A funding,” added Wilson B. Sutarko, CEO of GreenTeams.
Since its founding, GreenTeams has grown into a comprehensive climate tech company, with its systems in use across over 30 provinces in Indonesia.
Its main products — Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Air Quality Monitoring Systems (AQMS) — help industries track pollution and air quality in real-time, making it easier to comply with environmental regulations.
In 2024, GreenTeams saw its revenue grow by 98% compared to the previous year. This growth was fueled by stricter environmental rules, Indonesia’s goals to cut carbon emissions, and growing demand from businesses for eco-friendly practices.
The company also runs Indonesia’s first calibration lab for gas and air tools to be officially approved by KAN (under SNI ISO/IEC 17025 standards). In addition, GreenTeams has earned ISO 9001 certification for its quality management.
“GreenTeams has built a rare combination of field-proven systems, certified infrastructure, and deep domain expertise to serve a rising need in Southeast Asia’s climate ecosystem,” said CK Tan, Managing Partner of Oriza Greenwillow Technology Fund. “We are impressed by the execution capability of the management team, and their vision and commitment to the green efforts in Southeast Asia and beyond. GreenTeams plays a crucial role in building transparency and trust in environmental data, key pillars for any credible sustainability transition. Their early profitability and growth speak volumes”.
