Groundup.ai, a Singapore-based industrial AI company specializing in machine maintenance and workplace safety solutions, has raised $ 4.25 million in its Series A funding round.
The round was led by local VC firm Tin Men Capital, with continued backing from Wavemaker Ventures—an early-stage fund of Wavemaker Partners—and participation from SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore.
This fresh capital will fuel Groundup.ai’s mission to modernize traditional industries through advanced AI, with a focus on the manufacturing, maritime, defense, and oil and gas sectors.
With this new funding, Groundup.ai aims to scale its product offerings, deepen its presence across Asia and the Middle East, and expand into Australia, Europe, and North Asia. The company also plans to invest in top talent and infrastructure to ensure clients realize long-term value from implementation to sustained impact.
Headquartered in Singapore, Groundup.ai specializes in Cognitive Maintenance—an advanced system that integrates autonomous AI agents, proprietary sensors, and deep machine intelligence to provide more than just alerts. Their technology offers contextual understanding, root-cause analysis, and actionable solutions.
Groundup.ai’s solutions have generated millions in savings for diverse clients. Their technology is trusted by multinational corporations and government-linked organizations across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, driving tangible ROI and redefining industrial digital transformation.
“We’re not just optimizing maintenance—we’re reshaping how industrial operations function,” said Leon Lim, CEO and Founder of Groundup.ai. “Our mission is to equip maintenance teams with intelligent tools that transform every asset into a self-monitoring system capable of predicting failures before they occur. We’re proud to be already helping industry leaders realize this vision, generating millions in savings and turning maintenance from a reactive expense into a strategic advantage.”
The Series A funding comes when demand for intelligent industrial solutions rises, driven by increasing operational costs, labor shortages, and the urgent need to maximize uptime. Groundup.ai addresses these challenges with an AI-powered platform that blends predictive maintenance with practical, real-world deployment.
Led by Tin Men Capital, the funding round also saw continued support from existing investors Wavemaker Ventures and SEEDS Capital, underscoring their confidence in Groundup.ai’s mission and long-term growth.
With the new capital, the company will accelerate product development to handle more complex industrial scenarios, enhance its AI capabilities, and expand its presence across key markets both regionally and globally.
