Gupshup, a conversational AI platform, has raised over $60 million through a mix of equity and debt funding from Globespan Capital Partners and EvolutionX Debt Capital.
The company will use the money to grow in markets like India, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa, and to strengthen its sales and marketing efforts.

Gupshup was founded in 2004 by Beerud Sheth. It is a conversational AI messaging platform that helps businesses talk to and engage with their customers.
The platform is used by over 50,000 companies, including IDFC Bank, Flipkart, and Swiggy, in 130 countries. Gupshup handles more than 120 billion messages every year.
Gupshup offers tools like AI chat agents, click-to-chat ads, campaign assistants, and agent support features. These tools help businesses give personalized customer service on platforms like WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, voice calls, websites, and mobile apps.
