According to a statement released here, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED) at Chitkara University hosted a special event to formally establish the relationship.

A fireside discussion was held during the event between Piyush Garg, Vice President of CEED, and Sunali Rohra, Senior Executive Vice President at HDFC Bank and head of the Government and Institutional Business, Start-Ups, and Gig Banking verticals.

Rohra offered her opinions on financial inclusion, contemporary corporate leadership, and the future of banking based on her vast expertise and insight into the Indian and international financial environments.

In the presence of Sunali Rohra and Dr. Sandhir Sharma, vice chancellor of Chitkara University, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed. This collaboration is a reflection of HDFC Bank and Chitkara University’s joint goal to develop an atmosphere that fosters innovation and allows companies to grow and tackle real-world problems.

Through increased communication and cooperation between students and business experts, the partnership seeks to strengthen industry-academia engagement. Dr Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University, remarked, “This strategic partnership with HDFC Bank is a significant step towards bridging the gap between education and industry. The collaboration will also aid in the expansion of startups by offering tools and advice for creating and growing new businesses. According to the statement, it also aims to support entrepreneurship and innovation projects of the government.
