The Singapore-based personal finance and shopping platform Heymax.ai has completed a seed investment round headed by January Capital, raising a total of US$2.6 million.

Additionally involved were Tenity, Ascend Angels, and XA Network.

Shiyan Koh, JJ Chai, Kum Hong Siew, Jie Lun Ong, Evan Heng, JJ (Projjal) Ghatak, Jake Tan Jun Kiat, Junyang Ng, Chua Ee Chien, Nino Ulsamer, Jeff Wu, Ned Lowe, Vanessa Ho, Sky Tsoi, Zach Tan, Ronak Banka, Sandeep Krishnamani, Ayush Goyal, John Xiao, Jimmy Gambier, Royston Chan, Jian Wei Chuah, Junxiong Ho, and StashAway’s Angel Investing programme are among the angel investors who co-invested in the round.

It can be difficult to maximise credit card and merchant rewards, but Heymax.ai, which was established in 2023 by four former Meta engineers, solves this issue by enabling “seamless” interoperability between various companies’ loyalty programmes. Through the Heymax.ai platform, users may link their current credit cards to get fast suggestions for the credit card that delivers the maximum rewards for a certain purchase.

Customers of the site can access more than 500 well-known retailers in important categories, such as NTUC Fairprice, Grab, Amazon.sg, Apple, and Shopee. Customers can use Max Miles, a single currency, to receive rewards. With no fees or expiration dates, Max Miles can be transferred at a 1:1 ratio to over 25 airline and hotel partner loyalty programmes worldwide or redeemed for any commercial flight on any carrier.

Since the debut of Max Miles in September 2023, the firm claims that over 50,000 users have joined, earning over 50 million Max Miles and redeeming over 10,000 flights.

Additionally, the business and Visa recently launched Card Maximiser. Through this partnership, customers can easily keep track of their spending on all Visa-branded credit cards and receive up-to-date, complete insights into their card transactions and reward accrual.
