House of Student is based in Gurugram, India, and the United States. The company helps students find accommodation while studying abroad through its technology platform.
The new funding will be used to improve its technology platform, increase its global student housing listings, strengthen its AI features, and expand into more international education destinations.

“We never started with the ambition of building an accommodation company,” said Verma. “We started because we believed students deserved better. Student housing was simply the first problem we could solve. Today, our ambition is much bigger. We want to become the world's most trusted company around student life.”
Founded in February 2025 by Vaibhav Verma, House of Student is a technology platform that helps students find and book accommodation in popular study-abroad destinations around the world.
Students can use the platform to search for, book, and manage their housing in one place. The company also plans to launch AI-powered student support services to make studying abroad easier.
House of Student currently provides access to more than 2.5 million verified student rooms in over 25 countries.
Its housing network covers major education destinations, including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UAE, Singapore, and several countries across Europe.
