Human Health, a patient care platform, has raised US$8.5 million to grow its global presence. The funding round was led by UK-based LocalGlobe, with support from Airtree, Skip Capital, Aliavia, Scale Ventures, and several angel investors.
Some of the angel investors include Arvind Rajan (Cricket Health), Eric Salama (former Kantar CEO), and David Shein (OIF).
The new funding will help Human Health expand in its existing US and UK markets, strengthen its platform in key areas such as women’s health, respiratory issues, pain management, and autoimmune diseases, and support the development of Human Evidence — a tool that allows researchers to learn from anonymized patient data.
The company was founded by Kate Lambridis and Georgia Vidler, who met while working at Canva — Lambridis as a senior product manager and Vidler as head of product.
In 2022, they raised $10.15 million in what became the largest seed round ever for a women-founded Australian startup.
Today, over 200,000 patients across the US, UK, and Canada have recorded more than 20 million health activities (now over 40,000 each day) on Human Health. Lambridis describes the platform as the missing link between patients and medicine — a smart care system that learns from real patient experiences and treatments.
“Our mission is simple: to give everyone access to personalised healthcare. Right now, too many people are left in limbo; stuck on waiting lists, repeating their stories to different doctors, and trying to make sense of complex conditions without the right tools. Human Health is designed to change that,” she said.
“By helping patients capture their own health data, track what’s working, and share those insights with clinicians, we put them back in control of their journey.
“Patients don’t have to just wait; they can act, self-advocate, and build the kind of real-world evidence that leads to faster answers and better outcomes. This will create the world’s largest observational data set on chronic disease, all powered by patient choice.”
Human Health helps patients record their medical history, symptoms, and treatments. It also lets them track their daily habits, find health patterns, and get personalized insights in areas like mental health, pain, and sleep. The platform even creates doctor-ready reports so patients can better discuss their health during appointments.
It supports people dealing with many conditions, including autoimmune and metabolic health issues.
Co-founder Georgia Vidler describes Human Health as an “operating system” that helps patients better understand and manage their own health.
