Indonesia-Based Indosat has Partnered with Zurich

ZURICH and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH)has Partnered to combine insurance and telecoms services into one app.

Through the myIM3 and bima+ platforms, the cooperation will enable the more than 100 million users of Indosat to access a range of insurance products.

Products including postpaid bill reimbursement and travel insurance that covers missed flights, misplaced luggage, and urgent medical attention will be available from Zurich.

Plans for the future include broken screen insurance and hospital cash plans, with the goal of offering reasonably priced and complete protection alternatives.

Through this collaboration, Indosat is demonstrating that it is offering all-inclusive protection solutions for a range of activities, which are available via the myIM3 and bima+ platforms.

Ritesh Kumar Singh, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, stated, “This strategic partnership combines Indosat’s extensive network and complete digital ecosystem with Zurich ’s expertise in insurance protection. Additionally, postpaid clients who purchase a plan or renew it automatically receive a Free Postpaid Bill Protection plan, which offers extra benefits in addition to coverage against significant health risks. Inspired by the gotong royong spirit, Indosat and Zurich are committed to offering safety that meets the individual needs of its clients.

For postpaid clients, Indosat is now launching a Free Postpaid Bill Protection plan, which provides insurance against major health risks at the time of plan purchase or renewal.

This program is in line with the Indonesian concept of gotong royong, or mutual cooperation, since both businesses are dedicated to offering protection tailored to each individual client.
