AALTO HAPS and PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk have inked a Memorandum of Understanding to investigate the possibilities of offering HAPS solutions for sale in Indonesia.
When combined with Mitratel’s portfolio of digital infrastructure, which consists of over 38,000 towers and 37,000 km of fiber optic, AALTO’s Zephyr provides capabilities from stratospheric that will have a significant impact on earth observation and mobile connectivity.
Geographically and economically, Indonesia faces difficulties in spreading network availability and internet access throughout 3T, the nation’s border, remote, and impoverished regions.
Zephyr is a payload agnostic platform that can fly for months at a time and change into a multipurpose tower in the sky to offer low latency 5G direct-to-device mobile connectivity services in remote and difficult-to-reach areas.
