J&C Pacific Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based company that uses AI for retail marketing solutions, has partnered with Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), the country’s national payments network and operator of the MyDebit scheme. The goal is to modernize the execution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) campaigns in Malaysia.
The duo said in a statement on Wednesday that at the heart of this collaboration is GiftsMart, a proprietary AI-powered redemption platform developed by J&C Pacific.
GiftsMart is built to automate and digitize the whole consumer promotion process—from submitting receipts to checking eligibility and delivering gifts—giving brands a smarter, faster, and more transparent way to connect with customers.
“This partnership with PayNet is a major milestone in our mission to transform how retail campaigns operate,
“With GiftsMart, we are eliminating outdated manual processes and replacing them with AI and intelligent automation that enhance efficiency, transparency, and customer experience, all while encouraging greater adoption of cashless payments through MyDebit,” said CK Lee, Chief Executive Officer of J&C Pacific.
As part of this partnership, J&C Pacific will work with PayNet to launch a brand engagement program to bring FMCG brands on board with next-generation retail marketing.
The program supports both companies’ focus on digital transformation, consumer convenience, and payment innovation.
“Our vision is to enable brands to run nationwide campaigns at scale without the operational burden,
“Through this partnership, we are not just introducing new technology; we are setting a new standard for how promotions should be executed in today’s retail landscape,” added CK Lee.
Through this partnership, purchases made with MyDebit can be redeemed for rewards on the GiftsMart platform.
To claim these rewards users need to upload their MyDebit transaction receipts to the platform and meet the campaign requirements during the promotional period.
“Digital innovation is the key to unlocking new value in consumer engagement,
“Through this collaboration, MyDebit users can enjoy a more seamless and digitized reward redemption experience,” said Gary Yeoh, Chief Marketing Officer of PayNet.
“By performing a MyDebit transaction and submitting the receipt via the GiftsMart platform consumers benefit from a streamlined process that replaces previously manual, multi-step submissions,
“This initiative not only enhances the user experience but also supports our broader mission to drive digital adoption and promote a cashless economy in Malaysia,” he added.
In the next stage of the partnership, J&C Pacific and PayNet plan to expand the GiftsMart platform to include DuitNow QR as an eligible payment method. This will widen digital payment options and give consumers more flexibility.
Their ongoing collaboration shows a shared goal of strengthening Malaysia’s FMCG sector with future-ready infrastructure that brings together AI, automation, and national payment systems into a single seamless experience.
