The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund has partnered with USAID Business Growth Project to advance factory energy efficiency solutions.

In the presence of delegations from both organizations, Fund Director General Rasmi Hamza and USAID Business Growth Project Wafaa Aranki.

Rasmi Hamza, Director of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund, stressed the Fund’s commitment to driving industrial competitiveness by lowering energy costs and carbon dioxide emissions. He noted the Fund’s continued partnership with contributors to achieve these goals and the importance of this collaboration.

Wafaa Aranki, Director of the USAID Business Growth Project, stressed the project’s role in promoting energy efficiency regulations for small and medium-sized firms. Aranki urged sustained collaboration to achieve goals and praised the Fund’s support of businesses and startups.

Lina Mobaideen, Fund Project Development Department Head, reaffirmed the Fund’s commitment to local and international cooperation. She stressed that the program supports the Fund’s strategic goals to employ renewable energy and optimize energy use.

The new program reduces energy costs and emissions to boost industrial competitiveness. The pay will pay energy audit investigations up to 10,000 Jordanian dinars and give expert technical support. This project is a major step toward greening and sustaining medium and small factories.

Women, youth, and people with disabilities are integrated into the USAID Business Growth Project to boost Jordanian SMEs’ productivity and competitiveness. Both parties want to boost manufacturing energy efficiency, innovation, and employment via this agreement. This relationship is crucial to Jordan’s industrial energy efficiency and sustainability efforts.
