Beauty and cosmetics startup kindlife has raised $8 Mn in a Series A funding round co-led by JB-Dooeun TK Fund and MIXI Global Investments.

The round also saw participation from Kalaari Capital and a clutch of undisclosed marquee angel investors.

A B2B component of Kindlife’s business concept is called “Kindbox.” Ghai claims that it is a technology-driven distributor for several national brands.

In order to reach a larger mass of consumers, it partners with several distribution channels, including fast commerce and significant e-commerce firms like Flipkart and Amazon.

Now, this Gurugram-based firm boasts around 2.5 million registered users, demonstrating its impressive growth. With a GMV of about Rs 17 crore, Kindlife’s operational revenue in FY23 was estimated to be around Rs 10.7 crore. In FY24, it more than quadrupled on both measures to take its place in a robust market with rising consumer demand.

Regarding this, the investing community conveyed confidence in Kindlife’s market potential and inventive strategy. According to Tak Lee of TKN Advisors, the platform’s emphasis on Korean beauty is one of the emerging trends in India, and its use of AI technology to offer individualized beauty solutions is highly distinctive.

Principal Partner at Mixi Global Investments Tomoharu Urabe stated that he took part in the round due to an amazing concept that has demonstrated its efficacy in early metrics.
