Krieya Beauty & Wellness, a beauty company focused on products for Indian skin, has raised about INR 7 crore in its first funding round. This comes ahead of its first brand launch, which is planned for the third quarter of FY26.
The funding round was led by Sauce, co-led by Riverwalk Holdings, and also included investment from Aneesh Sheth, the founder of the well-known Indian skincare brand Dr. Sheth’s.
Zoeb Ali Khan, VP at Sauce added, “We are bullish on Beauty & Personal Care as a category in India, and see premiumisation through local players as a clear trend across multiple categories in Beauty. Krieya’s focus on building premium brands as well as R&D with proprietary formulations is what convinced us to invest.”
Jai Sumer Singh, Co Founder & Partner at Riverwalk Holdings added, “We were super excited about the R&D first approach adopted by Krieya. This focus, along with deep customer obsession, gives them an unfair advantage, and that’s why we invested.”
Siddharth Sharma, Founder & CEO at Krieya expressed, “Most mature global beauty markets such as Korea and Japan are dominated by local brands that deeply understand their consumers, and invest in not only marketing, but R&D to deliver superior outcomes. As the Indian BPC market matures, we intend to lead this change and build premium science-driven brands across the Beauty, Personal Care, and Wellness Categories.”
Krieya, founded by Siddharth Sharma, is a beauty and personal care company that focuses on research-based products for Indian consumers. The company is creating premium haircare, skincare, and wellness brands with unique formulations designed specifically for Indian biology and habits.
Krieya has conducted research with over 500 consumers and completed six months of product trials for its first haircare brand, ensuring the products are effective and tailored to customer needs.
The company is creating a BioPrint of Indian consumers to help design products that suit their needs. The founder, Siddharth Sharma, has previous experience at Honasa Consumer and helped grow Dr. Sheth’s after it was acquired.
Krieya aims to build premium, science-based brands in beauty, personal care, and wellness, focusing on products that are effective and tailored for Indian users.
