LightFury Games has raised $8.5 million in seed funding round led by venture capital firm Blume Ventures. The Japanese mobile entertainment company Mixi, the micro-venture capital company Gemba Capital, and angel investors Kunal Shah and Gaurav Munjal were also involved in the round.
With an initial focus on mobile gaming, the business intends to use the funds to produce high-quality AAA titles in India. Over time, it wants to progressively expand into other platforms, including consoles.

Elite game production studios with substantial financial and technological resources are responsible for creating and releasing AAA titles, which are renowned for their exceptional polish and quality.

Founded in 2024, LightFury also intends to employ talent and open game studios in India and the UK.
