The $1.5 million pre-series A funding round for MatchLog Solutions, a player in supply chain optimisation and sustainable container logistics, was closed. Motion Ventures and July Ventures led the investment; Venture Catalysts, Blue Ashva Capital, and Capital A also participated.
The company’s transition to a comprehensive platform model, which highlights carbon reduction as a key component of its offering, will be made possible by this finance. Along with increasing MatchLog’s market footprint, the investment will strengthen strategic alliances and foster deeper cooperation within the international port and shipping communities.

Dhruv Taneja, Founder and CEO, MatchLog, said, “Our transition from a marketplace to a platform model is aimed at scaling our operations and increasing our sustainability efforts. Since starting our operations, we’ve managed 200,000 containers and improved their efficiency by around 50%. This has reduced our carbon emissions by 40,000 metric tons, contributing significantly to the reduction of the container logistics carbon footprint in India. Looking forward, we plan to handle 2 million trips annually, aiming to cut an additional 800,000 metric tons of emissions and save over $100 million in freight costs.”
