The foodtech startup MealPlanet, based in the United Arab Emirates, has raised $6 million in a seed round led by prominent businessmen Marc Lore and Samih Toukan, as well as regional Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), AlTouq Group, Sanabil 500, Faith Capital, and Alturki Ventures.
Established in 2024 by Khalid Baareh, Mealplanet is an app that delivers meal plans and connects customers with a variety of brands. With the current funding, It will forward its plans for regional expansion, beginning in the first quarter of 2025 with Saudi Arabia.
