
Moadna, a Syrian healthtech startup that helps clinics manage their operations and allows patients to book appointments online, has raised US$50,000 in early-stage funding from angel investors. Following the investment, the company's valuation has increased to $300,000.
Moadna has grown quickly in Syria and now works with more than 550 doctors, clinics, and medical centers across the country.
The platform has also attracted over 8,000 users who use it to find healthcare services and book appointments online.
So far, patients have booked more than 3,500 appointments through the platform, showing strong demand for its services.

With the new funding, Moadna plans to improve its product, upgrade its technology, and expand its business operations as it prepares for further growth in Syria and future expansion into other regional markets.
This investment is an early-stage funding round that will help Moadna grow before it raises a larger pre-seed round in the future.
Moadna was also part of Thimar, a program that supports and helps Syrian startups develop their businesses and expand their operations.
Founded by Tarek Skheta and Maged Hamdeh, Moadna offers an all-in-one platform that helps clinics and medical centers manage appointments, patient records, medical visits, billing, income, and expenses.
The platform also allows patients to book appointments online and communicate easily with healthcare providers.
