A new generation food and beverage company called Ninecamp Ventures has received $2 million from well-known angel investors and non-institutional investors in its seed round.

The money raised will be put towards developing new ideas and products, hiring top personnel, buying luxury real estate, and expanding the company’s portfolio of brands.

Ninecamp was founded by Chaitanya Mathur with the goal of developing brands that speak to the changing needs of the Indian consumer base as well as the market. With an emphasis on global standards in product, service, design, and ingredients, the company aims to launch a new wave of experience dining while creating brands that are both for and from India.
For those who are unaware, Mathur’s creation of Zomaland was crucial in launching Zomato’s live business.

The company opened its first eatery, Marièta, a Latin American-inspired eatery and bar at Two Horizon Centre in Gurugram, in April of this year.
