Noma Security Raises $100M to Protect Against AI Agent Threats

Noma Security, a cybersecurity startup focused on AI and agent security, has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round.

The round was led by Evolution Equity Partners with support from existing investors Ballistic Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners. This brings Noma’s total funding to $132 million in under two years.

Noma’s platform helps organizations safely use AI technologies on a large scale. It gives cybersecurity teams the tools they need to manage risks related to AI.

The platform offers features like continuous vulnerability detection, security profiling, risk prioritization, real-time attack simulations, and defense — all while making sure companies stay compliant with their security policies.

Noma was founded in 2023 by CEO Niv Braun and CTO Alon Tron, who met while serving in Israel’s 8200 intelligence unit. The company came out of stealth mode in October 2024.

Although Noma hasn’t shared its revenue, it reports strong year-over-year growth after being adopted by Fortune 500 companies and major AI players in industries like financial services, life sciences, retail, and high-tech. The company has 40 employees, with its development center in Tel Aviv and offices in the U.S.

UBS Research reports that 53% of organizations plan to adopt agentic AI by 2026, and 83% expect to use AI agents by 2028. Noma’s platform is designed to handle this shift by detecting millions of AI-related risks and tackling new threats at scale.

For example, one of Noma’s customers handles hundreds of millions of AI prompts each month while scanning thousands of model artifacts and AI environments — including cloud platforms, code repositories, and AI agent development tools.

“AI agent adoption is exploding within our customer base, and CISOs understand that AI innovation must be thoughtfully deployed with full guardrails,” said Niv Braun, Noma Security CEO and Co-Founder. “Noma Security is the only cybersecurity vendor to offer an end-to-end platform purpose-built to identify and mitigate the uniquely advanced risks of agentic AI.”
